Elon Musk has successfully completed his $44bn takeover of Twitter. This deal had enabled the world’s richest man to charge his control over one of the most popular social media platforms with more than 230 million users.
Elon who is well-known for his controversial and witty tweets, tweeted “the bird is freed” in reference to Twitter’s official logo. Soon after taking ownership, he began leading his controls by firing some of the top executives including Parag Agarwal- CEO of Twitter, Ned Segal- Chief Financial Officer, Vijiya Gadde- the Head of Legal policy, trust and safety, and Sean Edgett- General Counsel.
Some of these leading officials have been working on Twitter for long years and now after they depart, Musk plans to become the CEO. This might be a new beginning for Twitter. With Musk in action, the social media platform will experience new modifications and technological advancements in the upcoming times.
